Workshops

 

Square dance workshops (dances) begin every September and run for 12 weeks to complete the Basic calls of square dancing. On Vancouver Island that is called Westcoast dancing.  From the Christmas dance into the new year all beginning dancers are welcome at all Ocean Wave dances as "Tips" are designed for Westcoast or Mainstream dancers.  It is the best way to learn,  just dancing! West Coast dances are held several times a month in various other Upper Island club locations.

 

Beginning January of each year, the 2nd half of the lesson programme completes the full Mainstream square dancing programme and dances are held several times a week throughout the Upper Island. 

 

Ocean Wave workshops are held at the St John the Divine Anglican Church Hall
